Here's what you can verify about us today:

  • CAPS-certified — Certified Aging-in-Place Specialist (NAHB), one of the few in Central Texas.
  • Licensed, insured & EPA Lead-Safe — documentation available on request.
  • Veteran-owned and family-owned, based in Dripping Springs, serving the Austin metro and the Hill Country.

Questions About Working With Live Oak Home Access

Is Live Oak Home Access licensed and insured in Texas?

Yes. Live Oak Home Access is licensed, insured, and EPA Lead-Safe certified for work in Texas homes. Our lead contractor holds the Certified Aging-in-Place Specialist (CAPS) designation from the National Association of Home Builders — one of the few contractors in Central Texas with this credential. You can ask to see documentation at any time.

What areas of Central Texas do you serve?

We serve a wide area including Austin, Georgetown, Sun City, Lakeway, Dripping Springs, New Braunfels, Boerne, Canyon Lake, Marble Falls, Fredericksburg, Wimberley, Bastrop, Seguin, and surrounding Hill Country communities. See our full service areas list for details.

What kinds of projects do you do?

We specialize in aging-in-place and accessibility modifications: grab bars and bathroom safety, accessible bathroom remodels, curbless and walk-in showers, doorway widening and zero-step entries, wheelchair ramps, stair lifts and platform lifts, and comfort-height toilets and fixtures. See all our services.

How do I get started? Is there a cost for the assessment?

The first step is a free in-home safety assessment — no cost, no obligation. We walk through your home, discuss your goals and concerns, and give you a clear picture of what modifications would help most. Book your free assessment online or call us at (512) 797-6518.

Can you help with VA HISA grants or other funding programs?

Yes — we are familiar with the VA Home Improvements and Structural Alterations (HISA) program and other Texas funding options, including the Texas Medicaid STAR+PLUS HCBS waiver for Minor Home Modifications. We help guide you through paperwork and documentation. Please note: we are contractors, not financial or benefits advisors — always verify current eligibility and benefit amounts directly with the VA or your Medicaid plan. Read our Texas home modification funding guide for a full overview.

How long does a typical project take?

It depends on the scope. A grab bar installation may take a few hours. A full accessible bathroom remodel typically takes two to four weeks. We give you a clear timeline before any work begins, and we communicate throughout the project so there are no surprises. Contact us to discuss your specific project.
